About The Position

As our Landscaping Quality Control Supervisor , you’ll ensure the site consistently meets strict quality standards while supporting and guiding crews in the field. Conduct daily, weekly, and project‑based quality inspections across multiple sites, documenting findings with precision. Develop and maintain QC checklists, standards, and performance benchmarks for crews and subcontractors. Identify deficiencies, root causes, and corrective actions — then follow through to ensure resolution. Provide hands‑on coaching to landscaping crews to reinforce best practices in horticulture, turf care, irrigation, equipment use, and safety. Collaborate with project managers to align QC expectations with project timelines, client requirements, and operational goals. Review work orders, service reports, and project plans to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor material usage, equipment condition, and crew productivity to support efficient operations. Serve as the on‑site point of contact for QC‑related client questions, concerns, or feedback. Support training initiatives for new hires and ongoing skill development for existing staff. Ensure all work adheres to environmental, safety, and regulatory standards. Participate in continuous improvement efforts, recommending process enhancements and operational adjustments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture experience.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience performing landscaping inspections, audits, or quality assurance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and maintenance specifications.
  • Basic computer literacy (email, mobile apps, QC software, digital forms).
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Valid RealID
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry certifications (e.g., Landscape Industry Certified, OSHA 10/30, Irrigation Technician, Pesticide Applicator License).
  • Hands‑on experience with turf care, planting, pruning, and irrigation systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple sites, tasks, and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Ability to make timely, informed decisions in the field when addressing deficiencies or safety concerns.
