About The Position

B&T USA is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laser Engraver Technician to join our team. The Laser Engraver Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser engraving machines, and for creating precise, high-quality engravings based on job order specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with laser engraving technology and be familiar with various types of materials such as metals, composites and plastics.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Proven experience as a Laser Engraving Technician or similar role in manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with various types of materials such as metal, composites, and plastic.
Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, or design specifications.
Proficiency in programming and operating laser engraving machines.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to laser engraving.
Ability to work independently and meet strict production deadlines.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain laser engraving machines.
Use laser engraving machines to etch designs onto materials such as wood, glass, metal, and plastic.
Interpret blueprints and design specifications.
Understand and follow specifications for each engraving project.
Set up and program the software to conduct the engraving process.
Conduct routine checks and maintenance on laser engraving machines to ensure optimal performance.
Follow all safety protocols during the operation of the laser engraving machines.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure the final product meets design specifications.
Perform minor repairs on the engraving machine if required.
Maintain records of materials, production reports, and work orders completed.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff by following established safety standards.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
Support a positive and professional image through actions.
Communicate with management and supervisory staff, and technical experts as necessary to coordinate manufacturing needs and efficiently resolve any issues.
