Laser Turret Operator
About The Position
The Laser Operator is committed to: defect free and on time at the lowest cost possible for our customer prevent exposures and reduce waste at the lowest cost possible for our environment Report to Dept Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned) : Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs, set machine parameters and proper fixtures to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. Execute proper start-up and shut-down of machine. Run laser to planned arrangements . Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent external quality (size & defects) issues. Always Work responsibly and safely MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform additional activities of execution as required Participate in the plan to organize, control and maintain the work environment
Requirements
- Obtain a score of 100% on general shop assessment within 1 week of job placement
