About The Position

The Laser Welder is responsible for producing high-quality welded components using laser welding equipment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to read prints and work with tight tolerances. The Laser Welder works closely with fabrication, engineering, and quality teams to meet production goals.

Requirements

• Experience with laser welding or precision welding processes preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with fiber-laser or robotic laser welding systems
• Experience welding stainless steel, carbon steel, or aluminum
• Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO, AWS)

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up laser welding machines
• Adjust welding parameters (power, speed, focus, shielding gas)
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Inspect welded parts for quality and accuracy
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards
• Work with supervisors and engineering to improve weld quality and efficiency
• Complete required documentation
