Huntsville Health Care Center is seeking a reliable and dedicated Laundry Aide to help keep our residents looking and feeling their best.

Requirements

Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred (experience in a healthcare setting is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal laundry for residents and facility departments.
Operate washers, dryers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area.
Follow infection control procedures and all facility safety standards.
Handle laundry with care and ensure residents’ belongings are properly labeled and returned.
Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and maintenance staff to support daily operations.
