About The Position

We are seeking an Afternoon, Full-time Laundry Aide/Housekeeper to join our team at Optalis of Allen Park. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry is cleaned and folded properly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior laundry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, Dry, Fold and distribute linens, towels, and residents personal clothing.
• Ensure that all laundry is cleaned, folded, and put away properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
• Light housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
