About The Position

Laundry Attendant Job Description Summary: As a laundry attendant, your dedication to providing clean and disinfected linens for the property is essential. You will be responsible for inspecting, folding, organizing storage and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for all linen.

Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to push up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Collect and sort soiled linens, towels, and other hotel related laundry
• Operate washing machines and dryers according to manufacturer and hotel guidelines
• Efficiently fold linens, towels and other hotel laundry while ensuring items are stain-free and meet hotel quality standards
• Assist Executive Housekeeper with inventory of cleaning products, linens, towels, etc.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry and work area
• Follow safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned
