About The Position

WeedX Fertilizing is a growing lawn care company based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, specializing in professional lawn fertilization, weed control, and soil health programs. We are currently hiring a Lawn Care Technician to apply fertilizer and weed control treatments to residential and commercial lawns.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering great results, and wants to grow with a rapidly expanding local company.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Lawn care or landscaping experience preferred
• Pennsylvania pesticide applicator license preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizer and weed control treatments to customer lawns
• Perform lawn inspections and identify weeds, turf issues, and disease
• Apply crabgrass prevention, grub control, and other turf treatments
• Conduct soil testing and provide recommendations for lawn health
• Operate and maintain spray equipment and spreaders
• Ensure safe and accurate application of products according to label requirements
• Maintain clean and professional service records
• Communicate with customers when needed regarding their lawn
