About The Position
A Lawn Maintenance Team Member at a lawn care business is responsible for performing various tasks related to the care and upkeep of residential and commercial lawns. This includes mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and applying pest control products. Team members operate and maintain lawn care equipment, follow safety protocols, and ensure the quality and cleanliness of the work site. Requirements
- basic knowledge of lawn care practices, including mowing, trimming, and fertilization
- physical stamina, as it involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing manual tasks
- valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are often required, especially if operating company vehicles
- able to follow safety procedures when using equipment and handling chemicals
- strong work ethic
- good communication skills
