Position Overview

As a Lawn Services Technician, you will:

Drive a company truck to residential and small commercial job sites

Work independently or with a crew partner

Operate professional lawn equipment safely and efficiently

Deliver consistent, high-quality mowing and lawn services

Represent the Lawn Ranger brand with professionalism and courtesy

We are not “a guy with a mower.” We are building a disciplined, reliable, customer-focused operation.

On rain days or schedule gaps, technicians will assist with local marketing efforts (door hanger distribution and neighborhood outreach). We keep our team working.

We are launching in March 2026 and expanding quickly in Fairfax County and surrounding NoVA communities.

Requirements

• High character and integrity
• Hardworking and dependable
• Comfortable working independently
• Friendly, confident communicator with customers
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background and substance screening
• Zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol while employed
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred (but trainable candidates welcome)

Responsibilities

• Operate walk-behind mower, push mower, edger, string trimmer, and blower
• Ability to drive manual (stick shift) transmission
• Perform weekly and bi-weekly mowing services
• Maintain sharp striping, clean edges, and professional presentation
• Perform minor equipment maintenance:
• Blade sharpening and replacement
• Oil changes
• Basic small engine upkeep
• Maintain a clean and organized shop and truck
• Respect company equipment and property
• Maintain professional communication with customers
