Applies knowledge of engineering, biology, and biochemical principles to the evaluation of chromatography and mass spectrometry related instrumentation used in the clinical laboratory. Supervises the scheduling and performance of preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, calibrations, quality control review, and assay validation projects on chromatography and mass spectrometry related instrumentation (analyzers) that produce data or patient results.
