Lead Advanced Practice Professional, AMG Head and Neck Surgery
About The Position
Atlantic Health is Seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Professional for Head and Neck Surgery Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to join AMG Head & Neck Surgery. The Lead Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will support both inpatient and outpatient care, with responsibilities at Morristown Medical Center. The Lead APP functions in a clinical and administrative capacity with a team of 7 Advanced Practice Professionals. Responsibilities include leading clinical education initiatives, creating work schedules, and training new team members. This is a full-time position working 4, 10-hour shifts with an additional weekend requirement.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- 3-5 years of surgical experience
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
