Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related related Engineering field of study plus six (6) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and four (4) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Experience must include: Object Oriented Design; Design Patterns; UML; Spring, Hibernate (or other JPA libraries); Ehcache; Terracotta/Coherence; Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) XML related technologies, including XSL/XPATH and DTD/Schema; Java XML APIs, including WWWC DOM and dom4j; Web Services (SOAP and REST); Oracle SQL; PL/SQL; Continuous integration development environments; AJAX; Javascript; Developing multi-threaded and distributed systems; Working on performance and scalability issues in large-scale enterprise systems; SVN; and Agile software development experience including Serum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP).

  • Responsibilities. Responsible for developing and enhancing effective programs and data structures that successfully meet our business objectives. Participate effectively in relevant aspects of a software development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, construction, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Collaborate with teams to design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Investigate and resolve application issues. Handles packaging, configuring, and deploying software. Collaborate with clients, Product Managers, Architects, and Analysts to develop and review software requirements and design. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications that address the requirements. Participate in project planning and release management while acting as an expert source of technology and application knowledge within the domain.
