Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of carpentry experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and guide others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple project needs
  • Comfortable working in various outdoor conditions year-round
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Knowledge of carpentry best practices and techniques
  • Precision in measuring, cutting, and shaping materials.
  • Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools
  • Perform physical labor and comfortable working with heights

Responsibilities

  • Build and install decks, pavers, screened porches, and outdoor features.
  • Deliver quality workmanship with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate with homeowners.
  • Lead and support the carpentry crew on site.
  • Report job progress to supervisor daily.
  • Delegate tasks to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Provide customer service and uphold a professional attitude.
  • Stay informed about new construction methods, tools, and materials.
  • Adhere strictly to established safety protocols and ensure a safe, organized work environment at all times.
