About The Position

The Lead Clinician is responsible for directing programs by providing supervision to others, assuring maintenance of the facility and all equipment within utilized by the program is operational while also carrying a caseload to provide direct Early Intervention (EI) services. Position will oversee EI program in Oklahoma County.

Requirements

  • Required at this level consists of a Master’s degree, (except for a Registered Nurse, a BSN Degree acceptable).
  • Applicants must have two years professional supervisory, managerial, consultative or experience in Allied Health discipline.
  • Required: Applicant must be licensed or certified in one of the following disciplines: Speech Language Pathologist, Behavior Health Clinician, Social Work, Child Development Specialist, Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Special Education.
  • If education, certification or licensure is required to meet qualifications, applicants must provide documentation at the time of application.
  • All applicants are subject to a background check and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Direction and supervision of professional staff in completion of assigned functions
  • Direction and supervision of clerical staff
  • Assuring adequate program staffing, including hiring of new staff
  • Conducting on-site staff meetings
  • Providing staff training on state and federal policies and procedures as well as training in clinical procedures
  • Counseling with local officials and agencies regarding needs at the local level
  • Coordinating services with the State Department of Education including direct collaboration with the Program Manager (PM).
  • Initiating corrective action plans concerning program procedures and staff management
  • Monitoring and approving leave
  • Development of PATs with staff
  • Managing Contractors with the Early Intervention Program to assure clients receive services
  • Monitoring of budgets related to contractors
  • Directing quality improvement activities for the local Early Intervention Program
  • Review periodic staff reports, administrative audits, program activities and other information to evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage as the liaison between the building management and central offices regarding facility maintenance and upkeep.
  • Manage office equipment to assure it is operational for use. Ex: copiers, stamp machine, computers.
  • Being the liaison with the companies that maintenance the equipment.
  • Provide clinical services for children with developmental disabilities according the Individualized Family Service Plan.
  • Being present in the office is an essential function of this job
