About The Position

THE ROLE Our Commercial IT organization is seeking a new Business Analyst/Program Manager to support our Commercial IT initiatives. This new Program/Product Manager will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, owning the business “why” and “what” for assigned products or programs for Commercial IT. If hired in this role, you will be accountable for defining product vision, shaping and prioritizing demand, and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and a well-maintained backlog for IT teams. As the new Commercial IT Program/Product Manager, you will work directly with business partners to understand objectives and pain points, and collaborate closely with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations to ensure solutions are feasible, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards. You will ensure the right work is clearly defined and prioritized so delivery teams can execute effectively. This new hire will be based in Bedford, MA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6–8+ years of experience in Product Management or related roles, ideally within a Commercial IT function
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex products or programs.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Business Engagement & Product Vision Serve as the primary business-facing owner for assigned products or programs.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategy, goals, user needs, and success measures.
  • Define, articulate, and evolve the product vision, scope, and success criteria.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, recommending options and tradeoffs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Roadmap & Demand Management Own and maintain the product or program roadmap, aligned to business priorities and enterprise strategy.
  • Shape and manage incoming demand, making prioritization recommendations based on value, risk, dependencies, and capacity.
  • Identify interdependencies and constraints across initiatives and drive alignment and decisions on sequencing and scope.
  • Requirements & Backlog Ownership Lead requirements discovery and definition, translating complex business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Draft, refine, and maintain a prioritized backlog.
  • Ensure requirements support accurate estimation, delivery, and testing.
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability between outcomes and delivered capabilities.
  • Governance, Metrics & Communication Establish program governance including operating rhythms and backlog reviews.
  • Define, track, and report KPIs related to business outcomes and value realization.
  • Provide executive-ready updates to business and IT leadership.
