About The Position

Looking for a Leadership position in Food Service Do you have integrity, a positive can-do attitude, a strong character and able to work in a structured environment ? Tigg's Canteen Services is looking to hire a Permanent Full-Time or Lead cook for Shiawassee County Jail in Corunna MI . We offer a competitive wage and benefit package including: Pay starting at $18.00 an hour for this location. Medical Dental Vision 401K Paid Time Off

Requirements

• Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
• Ability to read and follow company recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours ( between 8:00am - 5:30pm )
• Clearance approval into the facility

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus, but we can train the right person!
