About The Position

Join American Residential Services (ARS) , the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical services , with more than 7,000 team members and over 45 years of experience serving homeowners across the country. We are seeking a highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate scheduling and support our residential HVAC service technicians . This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient HVAC service dispatch, technician routing, and customer scheduling throughout the day.

Requirements

Prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or call center environments
Experience coordinating field service teams (HVAC or home services preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
Familiarity with local geography to support technician routing and service scheduling
Must report daily to the office (no remote work available)
Flexibility to work assigned shifts and weekend rotations as needed
Must pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

Dispatch PLUMBING service technicians efficiently to meet customer appointment times
Manage incoming service requests and schedule water heater service calls
Coordinate technician routing and job assignments to maximize efficiency
Monitor call flow through the Plumbing service platform and dispatch system
Communicate with technicians and customers to provide updates on Water Heater service appointments
Support field teams throughout the day by adjusting schedules and resolving routing issues
Maintain accurate service scheduling and ensure technicians remain productive throughout the day
