About The Position

Assists paint department by acquiring emergency parts from the parts crib and transporting them to the requested area
Assists with the day-to-day functionality of the General Stores Crib.
Assists UAW crib attendants by answering questions
Full time, In person position
Shift Hours: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in warehouse/inventory skills.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft office products.
• Ability to read and interpret operating and planning documents, purchasing forms, requisitions, safety rules, and operating and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems without direction from a supervisor or teammates.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties without supervision following established procedures and deadlines.
• Follow-Up on reports/instructions to ensure timely completion of Indirect Material responsibilities.
• Investigate missing parts/ documentation
• Be qualified to operate necessary customer systems to perform job functions (i.e. Microsoft products). Communicate delivery status of out-of-stock and back-order items.
• Help ensure that the right inventory items are at the right place at the right time.
• Other tasks/duties/projects as required.
