Requirements

  • Must meet all applicable Florida state requirements to work in a licensed medical cannabis facility
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle tools or controls, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, or large-scale production agriculture
  • Deep understanding of cannabis plant growth cycles, nutrients, and environmental controls
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and train a team in a fast-paced cultivation environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • A positive, team-first mindset with a passion for plant care and people development

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day cultivation operations, ensuring plants thrive at every growth stage
  • Train, mentor, and support cultivation technicians, promoting consistency and best practices
  • Perform and supervise plant care tasks: pruning, defoliation, cloning, transplanting, and harvesting
  • Monitor plant health, diagnose issues (disease, pests, stress), and take corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and state regulations across all cultivation activities
  • Maintain detailed records of plant growth, environmental conditions, and nutrient programs
  • Coordinate with cultivation management on scheduling, rooting rates, workflow, team performance, and production goals
  • Support facility cleanliness, organization, and compliance inspections
  • Act as a point of communication between cultivation staff and management
  • Additional tasks may be required to ensure the facility runs at optimal level.
