STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The primary role of the Lead Dental Assistant (LDA) is to support the success of clinicians through an effective delivery with a Standard of Excellence of Patient Care. Lead Dental Assistants perform a variety of care, laboratory, and administrative duties daily. Lead Assistants are responsible for maintaining appropriate and adequate general and specialty clinical supply in the dental practice, while simultaneously remaining fiscally responsible. Must support the policies, values, and goals of Sun Life Family Health Center and thus participate in the growth and future of the company. The Lead Dental Assistant supports and drives the Sun Life mission and culture in their location(s).

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency
• X-Ray Certification required
• Coronal Polishing Certification required (If not certified, employee must achieve certification within 60 days of employment)
