We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer - Audio Comms & Streaming Test Framework to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. If selected you will: Leads the architecture and delivery of a cFS-based test framework for streaming voice across EVA suits, human landers, and lunar vehicles, leveraging core cFE services for messaging, scheduling, and telemetry. Drives rapid prototyping from proof-of-concept to demo-ready stacks on desktop Linux and target hardware with reproducible scenarios for reviews. Integrates TRICK and similar simulators to inject audio payloads, timing faults, and synchronization events, using Python automation to control scenarios and capture objective performance evidence. Develops embedded C/C++ modules with Python-based ground tools for command, visualization, and CI-friendly testing Mentoring engineers in streaming audio systems and RTOS fundamentals Maintaining configuration, documentation, and requirements traceability
