As a Power Engineer at Celestica, you will develop highly reliable power systems for our networking, compute, and storage products.

Requirements

  • Experience designing power systems for networking, compute or storage products
  • Proficiency using schematic capture and CAD layout review tools
  • Proficiency using circuit simulation tools such as PSPICE and LTSpice
  • Proficiency using PCB voltage gradient simulation tools such as Cadence Sigrity PowerDC
  • Strong working knowledge of design of low voltage DC-DC converters, buck converters, LDOs
  • Proficiency testing and troubleshooting complex power systems
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to think proactively and drive issues to resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present to various audiences effectively
  • This position requires a BSEE and 2 or more years of experience as a power engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and validate power systems to meet the requirements of new products developed for our customers
  • Investigate and develop new power technologies that will enable Celestica to better meet our customers’ needs
