The Lead Faculty is responsible for assisting faculty and students in navigating the learning process. This role provides mentoring and guidance to faculty as assigned by the Program Chair and/or Department Chair. The Lead Faculty serves as a support position for faculty and may be assigned responsibilities to assist with faculty on-boarding, areas of development, or specific University or program initiatives. Also, this position may be assigned remediation or student support functions based on the needs of the program. The Lead Faculty is credentialed and approved as faculty for the appointed program of study and is expected to complete teaching assignments within the scope of the University faculty workload policy. This role is supporting graduate-level nursing.
