St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Family Care Partner that will be dedicated to ensuring that families receive the support and resources they need during their time at the hospital. This is a crucial role in enhancing patient and family-centered care practices. Our responsibilities include: - Providing direct support to families - Assisting staff in communicating and implementing patient-centered care - Facilitating access to resources within and outside the hospital - Contributing to the Patient Family Centered Care Council - Adapting to the organization's needs regarding patient and family-centered care We are dedicated to ensuring that families receive the support and resources they need during their time at the hospital. The Family Partner provides leadership and support, from the family perspective, in the educational and programmatic activities, practices and policies that promote and integrate patient family centered care throughout the organization. Provides coordinated education for families, staff, and volunteers about core values and behaviors of patient family-centered care. The Family Partner supports effective operations of PFCC programs including the Patient Family Centered Care Council (PFCCC), Family Mentors, Families as Actors in Clinical Simulation, and Family Centered Care Rounds development.
