About the position

DeepL is seeking a Lead Field Marketing Manager covering the US and Canada to join our fast-growing team. You'll use your project management skills and your analytical mindset to develop a regional marketing program with existing customers and prospects, including trade shows, customer events, and more. You will work cross-functionally with performance, product, and campaigns to build this plan. This role will report to the Global Head of Field Marketing and will be responsible for generating pipeline and driving awareness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and executing field marketing strategies, both digital and in-person, and using data to measure success. Experience in a SaaS scale-up with 500+ employees is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and drive strategy for the US and Canada, in partnership with your GTM partners (Campaigns, Performance marketing, Partner marketing, Lifecycle, Communications and product)
  • Drive top of funnel lead generation through partnership with your performance marketing peers and field events
  • Creating targeted events to support deal acceleration
  • Ensure positive ROI from all field marketing activities, using data to measure success and make strategic adjustments
  • Adapt global marketing strategies to the specific needs and nuances of the Americas market
  • Work cross functionally with comms, customer marketing to create local reference customers
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align field marketing activities with broader business objectives and pipeline needs.

Requirements

  • At least 7-8 years of experience executing large-scale field marketing campaigns, preferably within B2B SaaS organizations.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to stay organized in high-pressure situations
  • Possesses a strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
  • Possesses a practical and proactive attitude with a humble approach, demonstrating proficiency in accomplishing tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across functions to develop strategy and influence decision making.
  • Strong understanding of B2B event planning and management.
  • Proven experience creating and executing effective marketing campaigns to drive attendance and engagement at online and offline events
  • Proven experience managing event budgets
