About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Vacation Rental Lead Housekeeper who takes pride in creating immaculate, welcoming spaces for our guests. This role is essential to delivering a high-quality guest experience by ensuring our vacation homes are consistently clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and service-minded, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to upholding brand standards. As a Vacation Rental Lead Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the comfort, cleanliness, and presentation of our properties while working closely with operations and guest experience teams.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet turnover schedules.
Knowledge of proper use and handling of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Willingness to follow established cleaning checklists and standard operating procedures.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a service-oriented mindset.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties as needed.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings.
Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience
Previous cleaning and/or supervisory experience
Must have a cell phone

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare vacation rental homes between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff (room attendants, cleaners, public area staff).
Ensure timely cleaning of rooms, especially for check-ins and check-outs.
Make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize surfaces, and restock guest amenities and supplies.
Inspect properties for cleanliness, damages, missing items, or maintenance concerns and report issues promptly to management.
Ensure homes meet established quality, safety, and presentation standards prior to guest arrival.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets, storage areas, and housekeeping carts.
Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
Fulfill guest housekeeping-related requests in a timely and professional manner when required.
Return items left behind by guests to the designated lost and found process.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational excellence.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or corrective action when needed.
Promote teamwork and maintain staff morale.
Ensure proper use and care of all work equipment and assets.
