About The Position

The ICON Studios team is seeking a Producer for its Los Angeles–based photo studio. This role is for a creative operator who thrives on execution, structure, and collaboration. The Producer oversees end-to-end photo and video production, ensuring every shoot is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to brand and business priorities. This person is a proactive problem solver and operational leader who anticipates needs before they surface. They bring high standards, a calm presence, and a team-first mindset to fast-moving environments. Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously are essential to keeping production running seamlessly. You will oversee end-to-end photo and video production within a high-volume eCommerce and editorial studio, bringing structure, precision, and momentum to a complex production environment. This role owns schedules, budgets, and execution—forecasting seasonal production needs, ensuring studio readiness, and delivering work on time and at the highest standard. You will interpret creative direction and style guides to inform production decisions, lead internal teams and on-set crews across multiple workstreams, and expand the creative talent network by sourcing and recommending top production partners. You will keep teams aligned while partnering closely with finance and payroll to refine billing and invoicing processes. You will proactively identify process gaps, adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, communicate clear studio updates, and escalate risks early—helping elevate studio operations, exceed industry standards, and position ICON Studios as Nike’s preferred imaging partner. This role will report into the Senior Manager, Creative Production, ICON Studios and will work on a dialed and collaborative Production team. You will be the main point of contact for all freelancers and the voice of all Nike, Jordan, and NikeSKIMS productions with all our internal teams, collaborating closely with Studio Production, Creative, Casting, Planning, Logistics, Finance, and external partners to ensure seamless execution across initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in photo and video production within commercial or brand-driven environments.
  • Previous experience managing a high-volume commercial studio.
  • Strong budget creation and management skills.
  • Outstanding client management skills.
  • Experience working with creative and operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of studio management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of photography, video and social media platforms and technological specifications within each.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to build working relationships with core and cross-functional teams.
  • Thrive in a self-started, faced-paced and changing environment with flexibility to adapt to last-minute additions and changes in direction.
  • Demonstrable ability to make effective decisions in challenging situations and/or under pressure.
  • Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment and develop collaborative relationships with colleagues across the company; willingness to work with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage heavy workloads, prioritize work appropriately, and meet assigned deadlines; excellent organizational and analytical skills (including attention to detail).
  • Self-motivated, results oriented and well organized.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Airtable, Figma, Coupa, and Box a plus.
  • Understanding of CA labor laws and creative industry pay standards a plus.
