About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer to support a leading manufacturing client based in Piscataway, NJ. This role oversees security technology services across a broad portfolio of client sites and serves as a subject matter expert for security software systems. The Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer will play a critical role in advancing our security technology program by developing standard operating procedures, supporting training initiatives, and providing ongoing technical guidance to field teams. This position ensures the continuity, reliability, and effectiveness of security operations at all times. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical foundation and hands-on experience with BMS platforms, Pro-Watch, MaxPro, and Genetec software systems. The role follows a fixed schedule of Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Security Management, Networking, Computer Science, or a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in security technology and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-wide access control and video management systems, including Pro-Watch, MaxPro, and Genetec platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in security infrastructure design, process development, and organizational implementation at scale.
  • Strong technical proficiency in the design, installation, programming, troubleshooting, and support of electronic security systems, including access control (Gallagher, Avigilon), emergency notification, and accountability applications.
  • Solid understanding of user and database management, data analysis, and the development of operational and global implementation plans; capable of performing configuration updates and reviewing integration quality.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems, manage service tickets through resolution, produce technical documentation, and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new and ongoing security technology projects, including software programming for new sites, system administration, coordinating software deployments with our Global IT team, and ensuring that server and software upgrades are in alignment with our client and industry standards.
  • Establish, enforce, and maintain global standards for security technology hardware and software across all supported locations.
  • Provide timely, high-quality technical support and customer service to field teams and client stakeholders.
  • Analyze security technology risks, assess operational priorities, and support mitigation programs to address critical vulnerabilities.
  • Manage corrective action planning by identifying system gaps, clearly articulating risks, and driving remediation efforts to completion.
  • Design and deliver a centralized security consulting and training program, developing materials and guidance to support new and existing sites.
