Posting Dates: 2/27/2026 - 3/13/2026 or until filled Kern Regional Center is one of 21 private, non-profit regional centers contracted by the State of California through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate community-based services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Kern Regional Center services over 10,000 individuals in Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties. Our counties cover approximately 22,000 square miles with a population of over 945,000 people. Serves as a Lead and a first point of escalation to the IT Support Team members. Provide technical support as well as help to resolve complex technical issues over the phone, via email and in person to resolve issues involving applications, computer hardware, printers, mobile devices, RingCentral functionality troubleshooting, virtual desktop, and network access while focusing on customer service. Stays ahead of the technology curve and educates the team on the latest trends and changes of the supported technologies. In addition to resolving daily Help Desk issues, this position will be assisting other IT functions with special projects and assignments as directed by the IT Manager.
