Infosys is seeking Java Developer This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience At least 4 years of experience with App development using Spring Boot, Java 8, API, Microservices, Angular 8+, AWS/Openshift, Oracle / SQL DB, Core Java dealing with Concurrency Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in Design and architecture review. At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle with good experience in Agile Development Model. Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, and often Scala or Python. Frameworks/Tools: Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, and distributed system design. Data & Infrastructure: Understanding of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP). Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills. Analytical skills Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead technical initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation. System Architecture: Design and build advanced backend systems, microservices, and APIs using Java, Scala, or similar languages. Performance Optimization: Optimize services for high throughput, low latency, and reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including iOS client teams, Data Engineering, and Product to ensure seamless integration. Mentorship: Mentor junior and senior engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements. Requirements
