Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography is also required in addition to Mammography.
  • State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of assigned department's imaging services.
  • Deliver exceptional, safe patient care and precise diagnostic imaging by expertly positioning patients and ensuring all study parameters and documentation are accurately captured.
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and strategic troubleshooting to ensure all imaging systems operate at peak performance and minimize disruption.
  • Lead the professional growth and success of the department team through effective orientation, training, coaching, and meaningful input on performance evaluations.
  • Uphold a safe, orderly, and fully compliant imaging environment by maintaining strict adherence to all regulatory agency and departmental standards.
