About the position

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. The Lead Strategist is focused on supporting the marketing and brand strategies that enable business units to anticipate and deliver on customer needs, address customer pain points, evolve perceptions and tap into motivations that are critical to driving incredibly strong and lasting customer relationships that will contribute to business growth. The role requires the Lead Strategist to deeply understand, take into account and be able to demonstrate proficiency in how AT&T businesses work and operate, and how we drive revenue and share. The Lead Strategist will become an expert on our product and service portfolio, understanding what products have the most potential and how each element of the portfolio fits together to present a compelling, easy to understand way for consumers to get the connectivity services they need.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Strategy and Brand Strategy organization.
  • Use analytical prowess and data fluency to understand customers, competitors, channels, partners, and AT&T brands.
  • Disseminate and codify knowledge in the form of fact bases, case studies, and initial execution planning for key workstreams.
  • Identify unique customer insights and turn facts and deep analytics into novel findings.
  • Partner with colleagues of all levels and functional areas to execute on recommendations.
  • Develop portfolio strategy and brand architecture, value propositions and positioning, segmentation and targeting, messaging frameworks, and marketing plans.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and data fluency.
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate proficiency in AT&T business operations.
  • Experience in marketing strategy and brand management.
  • Skilled in influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in telecommunications or technology industries.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and CX analysis.
  • Knowledge of brand health analysis and business case development.
