Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or GED
6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Follow, comply and enforce all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs (Magna and OSHA Standards).
Drives forklift as needed and assists with the storage, tagging, loading, and unloading of parts in production as well as shipping
Performs cycle counts or coordinates cycle counting activity.
Ensures that inventory transactions are performed correctly
Look for efficient travel routes and strategic storage locations to minimize travel of the fork trucks
Ensure all drivers are adhering to safe handling practices
Verify all vehicle inspections are completed each day
Ensure material is stacked safely in all storage areas
Make sure changeover racks are in side in sufficient time for the changeover
Break relief as required
Performs analysis of inventory discrepancies and reports them to management.
Perform other duties as required.
