As a Lead Overnight Counselor , you are the heartbeat of our nighttime safety and the reason our summer programs can thrive. Requirements

Strong background in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities within a center-based or residential camp setting.
The role requires the ability to monitor both individuals and groups effectively, apply positive behavioral supports, and direct the work of others when assistance is needed.
Physically, the candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of college is preferred, ideally with a focus on special education, recreation, or therapy.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the safety and well-being of campers with disabilities during nighttime hours.
Maintaining an active "awake status," you provide direct supervision, assist with personal hygiene, and use positive behavioral supports to help participants sleep safely.
Lead overnight staff
Alert support teams when needed
Maintain accurate documentation such as incident reports and behavioral logs.
Uphold SOAR365's high standards of care by ensuring compliance with HIPAA and safety policies while participating in all required professional training and staff meetings.
