Summary We are seeking a Lead Paralegal to manage the quality, consistency, and efficiency of case work-up from sign up through settlement. The Lead Paralegal is a leader on the case management team and serves as an instrumental source of knowledge and direction to case team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in complex litigation or mass torts
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or supervising paralegals or case staff
  • Strong understanding of litigation workflows, court-mandated requirements, and claimant documentation standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and develop high-performing team members
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activity of case staff on assigned inventory, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of case work up activities with litigation strategy, court requirements, and internal SOPs
  • Supervise and audit case staff activities, including SOL management, injury and exposure validation, court submissions, and settlement package preparation
  • Train, mentor, and coach case staff to elevate legal knowledge, documentation standards, and overall work product quality
  • Partner with Inventory Attorneys to align case preparation with litigation strategy, case management orders, and bellwether identification
  • Conduct structured quality reviews, provide actionable feedback, and partner with Case Operations leadership to monitor and address performance gaps
  • Ensure client records and case data remain accurate and consistent, reinforcing compliance to SOP and highest standards of documentation and communication
