About The Position

Adventist Health Clear Lake is looking for Lead Patient Access Representative
for Full-Time, Variable Shift. We are looking for great individual who can work
onsite to our location in Paradise, CA

Located in beautiful Northern California, Adventist Health Clear Lake has been a
leading healthcare provider in Lake County since 1968. We are comprised of a
25-bed critical access hospital and provide primary and specialty care services
at clinics throughout the area to best serve our community. Lake County is home
to Clear Lake, California's largest natural freshwater lake, surrounded by
charming small towns, beautiful mountains, vineyards and orchards. This area is
perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with some of the best bass fishing, rural
trails for hiking and biking, all the while being only two hours from the San
Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Valley or Pacific Coast.

Job Summary:

Coordinates the day-to-day activities and management of patient access services
in clinical setting, such as pre-registration, registration, admissions, payment
collection, and other functions. Assumes responsibility for communication
systems within departments. Provides guidance to staff within the latitude of
established work area and policies. Works on assignments that are considerably
difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Works with sensitive and confidential information, often involving the
interpretation of policies and procedures to guide use.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Five years' relevant experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtains all required information for patient admission, such as insurance provider information, financial information, and other information.
• Coordinates payment collection processes.
• Maintains communication between departments and adheres to regulations.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
