About The Position

Lead Patient Admissions Coordinator - On Site, Full Time, Day Shift This individual is responsible for the day-to-day staff management, identification of issues with resolution, and staff quality/productivity measures. Requirements

  • Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association Upon hire
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) Upon hire
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) Upon hire
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical terminology
  • Basic knowledge of insurance and managed care payors, healthcare registration, Medicare Secondary Payor, EMTALA and ABN
  • 6 months familiarity with basic financial clearance functions
  • 3 years supervisory experience in outpatient registration or related experience in healthcare setting
  • 1 year knowledge of Epic applications
  • 6 months coursework in subjects such as team building, facilitating teams, process improvement, conflict resolution, etc.
  • Experience with MEDITECH system

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, or equivalent educ/experience
