Role Overview As the Lead, Performance Marketing, you drive the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid acquisition initiatives across multiple digital channels. You own campaign planning and performance management for key growth levers including paid search, display, and emerging platforms. As a subject matter expert, you lead experimentation, creative testing, and audience segmentation to maximize ROI and drive scalable customer acquisition. You collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, brand, analytics, and lifecycle teams to build integrated campaigns that deliver full-funnel impact. You apply a highly analytical mindset and a test-and-learn approach to drive efficiency, uncover growth opportunities, and improve campaign outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing with a focus on paid search and other Google properties
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience working with campaign data to optimize performance
  • Experience with Google Ads Scripts or API integrations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own execution, optimization, and performance across key paid marketing channels, including Google Ads, Directories, and new platforms
  • Design and execute creative, audience, and bidding tests to optimize return on ad spend (ROAS) and customer acquisition cost (CAC)
  • Develop and manage a performance roadmap that prioritizes high-impact experiments and long-term channel scaling
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to improve campaign efficiency, reduce manual work, and accelerate testing velocity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, lifecycle, and content teams to align campaigns with broader funnel goals
  • Analyze performance data from internal and third-party sources (i.e. GA4, ad platforms, BI dashboards) to uncover insights and drive strategic recommendations
  • Lead the development of new audience segmentation strategies and targeting initiatives to improve campaign relevance and personalization
  • Champion creative innovation by working closely with design and brand to develop and test high-performing ad concepts
  • Proactively identify areas for workflow optimization and implement process improvements to elevate marketing operations
  • Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts, ensuring alignment with growth goals and efficient resource allocation
