The Lead Performance Engineer role is responsible for overseeing the Performance Engineering team and ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of software applications and systems. The role will provide guidance and support to the team, ensure that best practices and methodologies are followed, and oversee the creation and execution of performance testing strategies and plans. The role requires a deep understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and programming languages to manage large-scale projects and mentor team members. The incumbent must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to adapt to changing requirements, and continuously improve existing processes to exceed performance expectations and meet business objectives. This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
