You are the architect of Hilbert’s "Portable Infrastructure." Your mission is to make our complex AI stack feel like a "single-click" deployment, whether it’s running on our AWS/K8s cloud or inside a locked-down enterprise data center. You will lead the charge in productizing our infra, turning custom scripts into reusable Helm charts and "packaged" solutions that unblock every other engineer at Hilbert. THE ROLE Infra-as-Product: You don’t just "fix the cloud"; you build tools that make a world-class infrastructure. The K8s Master: Deep expertise in AWS, K8s (EKS), ECS, and Secret Management. Security First: You live and breathe SOC2 compliance, VPN configurations, and zero-trust architecture. The "Packager": You have experience with Helm, Terraform, or Docker for complex, multi-service application deployments in air-gapped or restricted environments. Pragmatic Visionary: You still love to code, but you spend equal time thinking about how to prevent the same infra problem from happening twice.

Requirements

Deep expertise in AWS, K8s (EKS), ECS, and Secret Management.
You live and breathe SOC2 compliance, VPN configurations, and zero-trust architecture.
You have experience with Helm, Terraform, or Docker for complex, multi-service application deployments in air-gapped or restricted environments.

Nice To Haves

Working with Data Scientists or ML Engineers
Experience integrating B2B solutions for enterprise companies
Multi-Cloud Proficiency: While we are AWS-heavy, experience with Azure or GCP is a major plus for enterprise customers who insist on their own cloud provider.
FinOps Mentality: Experience with cloud cost optimization (especially for expensive GPU/ML workloads).
Service Mesh Experience: Knowledge of Istio or Linkerd for managing complex microservice communications in enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain our core AWS/K8s infrastructure.
Design the "Enterprise Package", a configurable, containerized version of the Hilbert stack that can be deployed on-prem with minimum engineering intervention.
Automate internal tooling (queues, Redis, Mongo, Secret management) to speed up the entire engineering teams.
Lead the security strategy, ensuring our SOC2 posture remains ironclad as we scale.
