About The Position

US Citizenship Required What You'll Do: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of circuit breakers and their applications. Serve as primary technical contact to sales, marketing, operations, and others, as required for in-service product support. Lead in specifying product requirements, working closely with product managers and customers to ensure product features and functionality meet the customer/market needs. Lead work with development engineers and product managers to prioritize development activities to meet customer needs while accomplishing objectives. Prepare product documentation including data sheets and flyers, instruction manuals, guide form specifications, release notes and service bulletins. Lead in industry technical meetings and conferences. Prepare and present technical product presentations. Lead product validation test activities. Develop and create concept documents or drawings associated with new product ideas. Lead development and improvement of area processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with circuit breaker technology
  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience and working knowledge of electrical power systems
  • Excellent technical presentation skills
  • Knowledge of product life cycle planning
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

  • Project management and/or project technical leadership experience
  • Technical marketing experience
