About The Position

Base pay starts at $23.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday (2:00PM - 10:00PM), hours may vary depending on operations Training will occur on 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:00PM) Complies with and enforces all company safety policies to ensure accident-free facility, which includes, but is not limited to, assisting in identifying and correcting machine and work area safety issues, as well as conducting accident investigations as required Provides direction to all production team members to ensure all key metrics are met accurately and in a timely manner Performs routine line checks several times daily to ensure efficiency and to check on progress of machine, production and personnel Interacts with other shift Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Production Staff to achieve smooth production runs. Ensures all components and paperwork for next schedule are ready Performs other related duties as required

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shift Lead
  • 3-5 years of experience leading a team of 4-10+ people
  • Ability to develop and play a team member role with other plant members.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as well as off shift as required
  • Can functionally use a tape measure.
  • Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word
  • Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to coach, train, and mentor all levels of associate

Nice To Haves

  • 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing (preferred)
  • 5-8 years of experience on a Sit-down 10k+ forklift

Responsibilities
