What you’ll do: • Network Design and Planning: Develop network layouts, ensure compliance, conduct feasibility studies, perform capacity planning, and manage cell site equipment layout and parameter definition. • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, analyze RAN data, and perform RF optimization and capacity management. • Implementation and Configuration: Deploy network solutions, conduct testing and validation, manage configurations, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of wireless RAN systems. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, including satellite network routing problems. • Collaboration and Coordination: Work with stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, provide customer support, and coordinate installation, maintenance, and optimization activities with various teams. What you’ll need: Provide expert radio frequency (RF) engineering and Radio Access Network (RAN) design engineering to ensure robust and efficient network performance. Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Requirements

  • Provide expert radio frequency (RF) engineering and Radio Access Network (RAN) design engineering to ensure robust and efficient network performance.
  • An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge.
  • Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions.
  • Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.
  • Develop strategic solutions; ensure alignment with organizational goals; solve moderate to complex issues.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired: in a Technical or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
