About The Position

This employee will assist the distribution supervisor and manager as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Required
• read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• write routine reports and correspondence
• speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs
• solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid forklift certification throughout duration of tenure
• Pharmacy Technician License -- State of pharmacy is required

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years shipping/distribution and/or lead capacity, preferred

Responsibilities

• Fills orders and restocks stations
• Organizes and processes returns as assigned
• Helps unload daily inbound deliveries
• Unloads, organizes, and stores medication deliveries
• Processes call tags daily
• Reviews and corrects rejected orders daily
• Monitors distribution area for compliance with safety guidelines
• Helps cover mail room responsibilities as needed
• Follows up to ensure all outbound packages have been picked up daily
• Helps maintain housekeeping of distribution as needed
• May perform shipping duties as needed
