Lead Software Engineer, Microsoft Azure Technologies Location: Position is remote in the United States BlueVoyant Innovation and Enablement is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer with deep experience building cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure , particularly serverless and event-driven architectures. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys designing and implementing scalable systems, exploring new technologies, and rapidly prototyping solutions in an innovation-focused environment. This is a hands-on engineering role , and the successful candidate will be expected to design and implement solutions directly in code while contributing to architectural decisions and platform evolution. The successful candidate will have strong experience building production systems in Azure , a solid foundation in C#/.NET , and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new capabilities to life. About the Team The Innovation & Enablement team is a forward-thinking R&D organization focused on exploring and developing technologies that advance BlueVoyant’s cybersecurity platform and MDR services. The team is currently modernizing and restructuring several internal capabilities to build a cloud-native platform that enables rapid innovation and global deployment of services to local regions. Engineers on this team play a key role in designing and building the foundational services that power these capabilities and support BlueVoyant’s broader cybersecurity ecosystem. Many projects begin as prototypes and evolve into production services used by BlueVoyant’s security platform , so engineers are expected to design solutions with scalability, security, and operational reliability in mind.
