As a Lead Solutions Engineer, you will: Align solutions to the customer’s goals, needs and objectives Provide consultation and training to customers and team members Interpret specifications and build solutions to those specifications Develop strategies and hardware/software solutions in a logical, creative, and structured manner that will help customers solve complex problems Collaborate with customers, cross-functional teams, and subject matter experts to identify and frame compelling solutions Interact with customers to execute the technical aspects of the strategy Multi-task and work efficiently in a team setting on critical projects to successful completion Exercise judgement in developing and implementing methods and techniques to obtain desired results following industry best practices Deliver right-sized technology solutions/services within the allocated budget Provide expert technical support Develop technical documentation Stay current on latest technologies and methods Regularly interact and build relationships with senior management, customers, and business partners Support development of proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) Support business development and marketing initiatives by meeting with customers and prospective customers, attending industry events, and giving presentations Mentor solutions engineers and solutions analysts by developing, coaching and growing team members through continuous learning Supervise staff, as assigned Provide performance feedback to solutions engineering staff and/or supervisors of staff Operate independently Comply with all KCI policies and procedures Complete other duties as required/assigned Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.
