Job Summary: Micron is seeking a highly motivated EHS Emergency Services Analyst that is responsible for contributing to shift operations and programs, leading the on-shift team in conjunction with the shift lead. Be a culture champion for both Emergency Services and EHS team as whole. The Emergency Services Professional will function as an Emergency Services Technician as shift operations dictates. Safety & Quality: Ensure full compliance with Micron and TD safety policies by completing required training, following PPE/CoHE/chemical safety procedures, adhering to organizational change practices, and operating equipment according to manufacturer and company guidelines. Proactively ensure a safe and efficient work environment by identifying and addressing safety risks, applying and reviewing JHAs/JSAs, using proper PPE and ergonomic practices, and driving continuous improvement through audits, good catches, issue resolution, and initiatives that reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency, and support cost‑saving efforts. Maintain accurate procedures and protect company resources by keeping area documentation up‑to-date, safeguarding employees and assets, and ensuring work practices meet all safety, quality, and regulatory expectations. Communication & Collaboration: Maintains proactive communication across shifts and leadership for accurate pass-downs and priority alignment. Escalates partner concerns related to Fab-impacting issues promptly. Works with area leaders and team members on development goals and improvement initiatives. Joins cross-functional collaborators to resolve equipment and process challenges, monitor important metrics, and enhance system stability and operational performance. Provides direction and coordination during emergency responses, ensuring all response personnel receive clear, timely instructions while also supporting 24/7 operations through overtime and shift‑coverage programs. Leads and coordinates external vendors. Communicates what is expected. Makes sure preventive maintenance, non-routine work, and other tasks happen safely and efficiently. Keeps everything aligned with operational goals. Technical/Data Analysis: Perform technical and operational tasks independently, following general instructions for new assignments, applying judgment to resolve routine issues quickly, referencing available materials for troubleshooting, and using limited judgment when addressing non‑routine problems. Monitor and enhance operational efficiency by addressing shift‑level issues, reducing equipment defects, supporting TPM and cost-reduction efforts, and providing timely equipment support through performance monitoring, issue resolution, completion of PMs/work orders, and proper maintenance of tools and response equipment. Lead and coordinate emergency response operations as an ERT Captain, responding to medical events, chemical spills/leaks, gas releases, HAZMAT incidents, and confined‑space rescue situations, while maintaining required certifications (EMT, HAZMAT, confined space rescue, etc.).

Requirements

  • Associate’s or degree in Emergency Services or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) License
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), progress between day and night shifts every 4 months, and adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations
  • The ability to become certificated in: SCBA, SKA, and APR respiratory protection, HAZMAT response, Confined space/high angle rescue

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years experience holding an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) License or in a comparable area
