A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Lead Technical Program Manager within Privacy, Safety and Security (PSS), you will be responsible for managing complex, multi-faceted projects from conception to launch. You will work closely with product managers, software engineers, cross-functional partners to define technical solutions, enhance development velocity while preserving privacy and security and deliver foundational systems for customers across Alphabet. In this role, you will proactively guide a portfolio of projects to build and drive the secure adoption of platforms. These platforms will enable Alphabet’s Product Areas, Bets, and acquisitions to build hybrid and cloud-native systems, creating an engineering experience that fundamentally improves development velocity. As GCP's capabilities rapidly grow, Alphabet's engineering teams must adapt to new industry practices and a highly competitive landscape. Our goal is to make Alphabet the most sophisticated user of GCP and other public cloud technologies. This strategic position is key to delivering these powerful new capabilities to engineering teams safely and at scale.
