About The Position

As the SAFE-SiM program enters its next phase of development, the Lead Technical Writer plays a critical role in elevating the quality, consistency, and strategic impact of all program documentation and media. This role is responsible for owning the technical writing vision for the program and ensuring documentation standards are defined, enforced, and continuously improved. The Lead Technical Writer will work closely with program leadership, engineering team leads, and stakeholders to produce polished, professional, and user-centered documentation across multiple formats. In addition to hands-on content creation, this role will guide documentation strategy, mentor associate and mid-level writers, and serve as the primary authority on documentation best practices for the program. The work produced will directly shape how end-users (customers) experience SAFE-SiM.
